I designed concepts for a package redesign of Easy-Off. At the time of the request, the packaging was primarily yellow and dated. The client wanted to "own yellow" on the shelves of stores, but with an audit of products both in the cleaning section of stores and beyond, we showed them they really could not own the color yellow as many brands already were trying to do that. The client also wanted a modern feel, so we pushed that boundary.
I created a wide range of options for the client, focusing on designing something that would stand out on the shelf and attract customers to look closer. Although the client ended up choosing a different approach that looked more like their existing packaging, they appreciated the push of my presented designs.
